Message from the President
In behalf of the officers of the PGCA, I would like to thank everyone for the confidence bestowed upon us in this task of leading guidance counselors to quality work in our noble profession. Quality work entails quality service to our clientele. To achieve this, we have learn to love our work even more: we have love the challenge of making it even more humane, we need to implement its new and tested theories and developments and we need to reach out to counselors all over the country who are thirsting for new approaches in the field.
It is imperative that our profession should adapt to this changing world. Our sensitivity to the pulse of the times entails not only constant reading of new material but also an eye and an ear for the changing needs of the youth as well as of adult professionals who are our clients. Let us keep abreast with the NOW and always approach TOMORROW with utmost care. Let us take part in the evolution of Guidance and Counseling because in the nurturing of our profession we also find our personal growth needed in our service to humanity.
